American Airlines and Qatar Airways to Codeshare

American Airlines and Qatar Airways have joined hands and will now codeshare on each other's flights. With this deal both the airlines will get benefited. Both American and Qatar will now be able to better their connectivity and flight schedules. Passengers can start booking these flights from February 10, 2013 for a travel starting February 26, 2013.

American Airlines’ Vice President, Kurt Stache said that with their details codeshare agreement with Doha based Qatar Airways; they will be able to provide their international flights passenger’s quick, convenient and improved access not only to Middle East but even rest of the world. This codeshare agreement and yet again confirmed the fact that American Airlines is focused towards constructing its global network with the help of its alliance partners.

Codesharing pact will involve nonstop flights between Doha and the U.S., all connecting flights at the European gateways of both the airlines like London and on flights to U.S. cities and outside Doha.
