American Airlines commences Los-Angeles-Sao Paulo flights

American Airline, the big commercial airline of the United States announced the launch of its daily flights to Sao Paulo. The airline commenced service between Los Angeles and Sao Paulo, one of the largest cities in Brazil.

Los Angeles, which is the fourth busiest airport in the United States, will fly hundreds of passengers each week to the South American city. Passengers can book plane tickets with the airline to travel between the city pair each day. The airport offers fewer flights to South American destinations but this service will help change its image. There is just one more flight from the city to Sao Paulo. The Asian airline operates thrice-a-week service between the two destinations. Lima, the capital city of Peru is the only other major South American city that is connected with a service form the city.

The airline, which is headquartered at Fort Worth, Texas recently completed merger formalities with another prominent carrier US Airways to create the world’s largest airline. At present, the airline flies to over 200 destinations across the world. It operates out of its hubs in Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Miami International Airport, and O'Hare International Airport.

As per the reports, the airline will use the services of Boeing 777-200 planes on this route. According to the schedule, flights will depart Los Angeles at 10:40 pm and arrive in Sao Paulo at 4:25 pm the next day. The return flights will depart Sao Paulo at 12:15 am and arrive in Los Angeles at 6:40 am.
