American Airlines offering Double Miles on select flights from Los Angeles

Here’s good opportunity for you to take cheap flights being offered by American Airlines. The airline is providing a great chance to earn double AAdvantage miles for travel on select nonstop flights on American Airlines from Los Angeles to various cities in the United States as well as Canada.

This offer is also valid for travel on American Airlines’ subsidiary American Eagle. The cities where cheap tickets can be booked include Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Fresno, Nashville, Phoenix, Reno, San Diego, Sacramento and Toronto. The travel on this offer is valid through June 30, 2012.
 
Travel on codeshare flights marketed by Alaska Airlines and operated by American Airlines are also eligible, when booked under the AS flight number.

This offer is only applicable to American Airlines’ frequent flyer program AAdvantage members who purchase and fly on eligible fare tickets. According to the airline, bonus miles do not count toward elite status qualification or Million Miler status. Double miles will be calculated at 100 percent of the base miles earned.
