American Airlines is ready to introduce new menu list on several selected jetliners flying to the US from Sydney, Tokyo and Auckland. Travelers flying to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Los Angeles from Tokyo in Flagship Business can enjoy the recently launched Japanese menu made by Jun Kurogi. This creative specialist has supervised menus that are served on Japan Airline flights and further, the delectable menu at Kurogi Shiba Daimon Tokyo is designed by him.
Thomas Scruby, the commercial director of American Airlines stated, ‘The cuisines served at the flight are prepared with utmost care to make sure that the travelers are fully satisfied. He added, to attract the attention of Japanese travelers, the airlines will keep on adding surpassing value-added services.’ The recently introduced menu features Zensai starters including Broiled eel fillet wrapped in thick omelette, Sautéed lotus root kinpira, Jellyfish and tuna salad topped with sesame vinegar sauce and many other mouth-watering dishes. It also has Dainomono Main Cuisines comprising Miso soup, Japanese pickles, Grilled salmon with starchy sauce and sliced bamboo shoots and others.
For flights with premium cabins flying from Sydney and Auckland to the US, the new menu is designed by chef Sean Connolly. At present, the chef owns six restaurants in Dubai, New Zealand and Australia. The menu features a small plate, four major dishes, a salad and a dessert.
This summer, American Airlines is also on the verge of rolling out new menu on premium cabin flights flying from China to the US. Chef Maneet Chauhan would be behind the menu list; although, the details are still unknown and have not been announced yet.
Recently, many other airlines have also introduced the new in-flight menus. For instance, Japan Airlines has rolled out new menu on flights flying to Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. Whereas, Virgin Australia began serving delectable new cuisines on its Los Angeles, Hong Kong and other domestic routes.
