American Airlines to add frequency on Palm Springs-Chicago sector

American Airlines, one of the most popular and now the largest airline in the world, has good news for its passenger. The airline announced its decision to add another flight between Palm Springs and Chicago. As per the reports, the airline has received a generous grant from the Palm Springs International Airport thus prompting it to take this decision.

This news has been received well by the passengers who regularly fly on the sector. Additional flight means that the more airline tickets will now be available between the city pair. The airline is all set to deploy a second daily flight to Chicago, dubbed as the Windy City, in February. The additional service will however, operate between the months of February and April.

Chicago is located in the state of Illinois and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. Travelers from the city often fly to other parts of the United States and the world. Likewise, millions of local and foreign travelers visit the city each year. Adding a direct nonstop service from the city to Palm Springs will only boost the prospects of Chicago. Millions of tourists throng the city for unlimited fun and recreation.

The airline, which recently completed merger formalities with another U.S. airline named US Airways, currently flies to about 273 destinations worldwide. It operates from its hubs in Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Miami International Airport, and O'Hare International Airport.
