American launches new Dreamliner to Beijing, Buenos Aires in June

American Airlines is all set to launch its newly-acquired Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft to Beijing and Buenos Aires from June this year.
 
The airline, which took the delivery of its first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft in January 2015, said that it will first introduce the aircraft on its domestic Dallas/Fort Worth-Chicago O’Hare route effective from May 7.

Later on, American Airlines will be launching the Dreamliner on its international routes as well from June this year. The airline said that it will launch its flights between Beijing Capital International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport starting from June 2.

The airline further indicated that it will also deploy its Boeing 787-8 aircraft between Buenos Aires’ Ministro Pistarini International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport effective from June 4.

The airline has placed orders for a total of 42 Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 aircrafts, with options to purchase 58 more. The airline will be taking delivery of more aircrafts and would announce new destinations for 2015 soon.

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft is configured in two classes. The aircraft’s business class cabin will be in a 1-2-1 layout with a capacity of 28 seats. According to the airline, those booking business class tickets will be offered luxurious fully-flat seats.

The aircraft’s Main Cabin offers two types of seats. There are 48 seats in exclusive Main Cabin Extra with an additional 6 inches of legroom. A total of 150 seats are offered in the common Main Cabin economy class. The seats in both these categories are in a 3-3-3 layout.
