ANA to launch premium economy on Frankfurt route

ANA has announced that it will be launching premium economy on its B787 Dreamliner between Tokyo Haneda and Frankfurt. Beginning September 1, 2013 passengers will get one more option to book premium economy seats and fly on this route.

The airline has reconfigured its Boeing Dreamliner to accommodate these seats. With the commencement of this service, passengers traveling on this route, will be able to book premium economy tickets for a comfortable long haul journey.

The original B787 had only two configurations viz. business and economy class. However, the new aircraft offers more space in its new cabins. It has a seating capacity for 169 passengers of which business class comprises 46 seats, premium economy contains 21 seats, and economy class has 102 seats.

As per the schedule, the reconfigured plane will depart Tokyo at 0100 hours and arrive in Frankfurt at 0610 hours, the same day. The return flight will depart Frankfurt at 1200 hours and arrive in Tokyo at 0625 hours, the next day.
