BA to add another flight between London and Madrid

British Airways, the prominent commercial carrier of Europe that operates to important destinations worldwide announced its plans to boost service to Madrid. The airline is set to expand service between London City and Madrid beginning October 28, 2013.

The airline already serves the Spanish city with twice-daily flights and intends to launch third service. Apparently, the passenger demand on the route has prompted the carried to add one more flight.

Business class flights to Madrid will be operated by British Airways City Flyer, a wholly owned subsidiary of the airline. As per the schedule, the flights will depart London City at 12:50 pm and arrive in Madrid at 16:10 pm. The return flight will depart Madrid at 13:25 pm and arrive in London at 14:40 pm.

The airline believes these daytime flights will help business and leisure travelers to align their day. These flights will provide a perfect time for the travelers to organize their onward agenda and utilize the day to the best of their capabilities. They also offer more flexibility and choice to the travelers who frequent the Spanish city.

The airline is known to offer excellent onboard services to its business customers. It operates large aircrafts like the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A380 jumbo jets to various cities. However, the additional flight to Madrid will be served with the subsidiary’s fleet comprising smaller jets.

The airline offers 23 kg baggage allowance, the choice of online check –in, complementary meals and drinks as a part of its services.
