Bangkok Airways launching flights to Vientiane, offers cheap tickets

Thailand’s leading carrier Bangkok Airways recently announced it will be launching flights between Thai capital Bangkok and Laos capital Vientiane from December 1, 2012.

The airline is offering cheap tickets to its customers to mark the new route. The customers can book cheap flights to Vientiane starting as low as $246.62 (7,615 Thailand Baht). The fares are inclusive of government taxes and fuel surcharges.

Apart from this, those planning to travel in business class can buy tickets at quite affordable rates starting at $641.68 (19,825 Thailand Baht).

The airline also provided the details of flight schedule on Bangkok-Vientiane route. According to the airline, the flight will depart from Bangkok at 0815 and make its arrival in Vientiane at 0930. The return flight will depart from Vientiane at 1010 and would be arriving in Bangkok at 1125.

Apart from Bangkok Airways, there are currently three carriers operating flights to Vientiane. These carriers include Thai Airways International, Lao Airlines and Lao Central Airlines.

Bangkok Airways is presently operating daily flights to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang ever since 2001.
