Board A380 aircraft from special lounges at Dubai airport

Emirates Airline recently announced that its customers booking business class flights or traveling by first class would be able to board the Airbus A380 aircraft directly from special lounges at the Dubai International Airport.

The airline in a statement said that the customers traveling in first class or purchasing business class tickets would be able to avail this facility from early next year. After some time Australia’s national flag carrier Qantas Airways operating flights from Dubai airport would also be able to offer this facility to its customers.

A new dedicated concourse ‘A’ is being currently developed at the Dubai International Airport within the existing structure. The airport authorities said that the new concourse would be dedicated for Airbus A380 as well as Boeing 777 types of aircraft. Media reports said that the new facility at Dubai airport is a part of the current expansion project.
Emirates Airline has placed orders for 90 Airbus A380 aircrafts, and has already received 25 aircrafts.

Authorities at Dubai International Airport said that they are quite hopeful that Indian customers traveling to Europe and US via Dubai would increasingly use this new facility.
