British Airways adds more flights on London-Glasgow and Edinburgh routes

The British airways recently announced the addition of more flights over London-Glasgow and London-Edinburgh routes, which will be served by its Embraer 190 aircraft.

The new flight service will start operating on the current routes from 2nd May 2011. The eighth daily flight service will depart from Edinburgh at 07.45am and the round trip flight will depart the London City at 08.50pm. The fifth daily service that will operate between London and Glasgow will depart Glasgow at 07.00pm. The present flights operating in the afternoon will be re-scheduled for 05.00pm and 06.19pm departures.

With the addition of new flights, London-Glasgow route will have a 32 percent increase in its flight frequency and the Scottish capital, Edinburg will have a 23 percent increase in flight frequency.
