British Airways and American Airlines announce new transatlantic flight schedule

British Airways and American Airlines in the recently signed joint venture announced that they will soon launch transatlantic shuttle service between the top US-UK routes, and will also operate hourly flight service between Heathrow-New York route.

Now after every hour between 1300 and 2000, there will be a flight service that will depart from Heathrow and there will be a gap of maximum one and a half hour between the morning flight departures.

According to the joint venture there will be equal spacing of time between the flights that will operate on the London-Chicago route. The flights will depart from Chicago at 05.00 pm, 06.00 pm, 07.00 pm and 08.00 pm. The timings of the previous operating flights departure from 09.00 pm and 09.45 pm will remain unchanged.

The joint venture will also add a new flight on the London-Miami route which will depart from 10.00 am, 11.00 am and 13.35 am.

All the scheduled changes will be effective from 27th March 2011. With the recent signed joint venture between the British Airways, American Airlines and Iberia will also see more addition of flights in the approaching summer. The new services will operate on routes such as New York to Budapest, Chicago and Helsinki through American Airlines, from Heathrow to San Diego with British Airways. Other services include Madrid to Los Angeles and Barcelona to Miami with Iberia.
