British Airways expanding capacity from Hyderabad, Chennai

British Airways recently announced it will be increasing its capacity from Hyderabad and Chennai when its 2013 summer schedule comes into effect. The flights will be operated to London. The airline in a statement said that it will begin operating six flights every week from the existing five flights per week.

To mark the launch of new flights, British Airways offered an attractive discount exclusive for its customers booking business class flights from Hyderabad and Chennai to London in Club World (Business Class).

The customers were able to enjoy a 25 percent discount on all business class tickets booked before November 23. 2012. The discount is valid for outbound travel until December 15, 2012.

Christopher Fordyce, British Airways’ Regional Commercial Manager South Asia, said that the airline is delighted to expand its capacity further in Hyderabad and Chennai. He said that the airline considers India to be one of the fastest growing markets and is therefore pleased to increase the flight frequency.
