British Airways launches first and business class sale

British Airways recently launched a promotional campaign offering fabulous discounts on first and business class tickets for travel across various destinations around the world.

Under the promotional “Premier Leisure Sale” offer the customers are being offered discounts of up to 55 percent on first class tickets, while those booking business class flights in Club World cabin will be offered discounts of up to 25 percent. The tickets under this offer can be booked till June 9, 2015.

According to British Airways, the destinations for which first class and business class seats can be booked on the offer include Washington DC, San Francisco, New York, Amsterdam, Salzburg, Barcelona, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Kuala Lumpur, Chennai, Hong Kong, Hyderabad, Dubai and Johannesburg.

Meanwhile, British Airways has said that its Austin-London route has proved to be a great hit. The airline first started flying to Austin in March 2014. According to the airline, the capital city of Texas became one of the smallest metropolitan areas in the United States to be connected with a nonstop service to Europe.

The airline indicated that it is now all set to boost its capacity on Austin-London route effective from October 25, 2015. A spokesperson of British Airways said that it will be deploying a bigger Boeing 777-200 aircraft to serve the route. The two cities are presently being served by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The airline said that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft has a capacity to seat 214 passengers. With the deploying of Boeing 777-200 aircraft the capacity on the route will increase as the aircraft has been designed to seat up to 280 passengers.
