British Airways offering special fares to mark 75th anniversary of flights to Bermuda

British Airways is offering special fares to London to mark the 75th anniversary of its first flight to Bermuda in June 1937.
 
The first flight to Bermuda was made by Imperial Airways, the forerunner of British Airways.

The week-long special fares sale started on June 20 and will end on June 27, 2012. The outbound travel on this exclusive offer is valid between June 27 and August 23, 2012.

The airline is offering premium economy tickets in World Traveler Plus for travel to London from Bermuda starting at $1,675 (inclusive of all taxes and fees).

 The customers are required to book round-trip premium economy flights (World Traveler Plus) and those in Economy Class (World Traveler) seven days in advance.

Weekend travel will incur an additional $50 per round-trip ticket. A minimum stay of Saturday night is mandatory. Itinerary changes are also permitted and can be made after paying a fee of $275.
 
British Airways is the only carrier to operate daily flights between Bermuda and London utilizing a Boeing 777 aircraft. The airline offers four classes of service on Bermuda-London route.
