British Airways to offer new amenity kits in business class

British Airways has announced it will now be offering newly-designed amenity kits to its customers booking business class flights. The airline said that the redesigned wash-bag will have a drawstring and can hold loose items or double as a shoe-bag.

According to the airline, the amenity kits will consist of Elemis products, including a toothpaste and toothbrush, earplugs, a pen, socks, an eye mask, lip balm, pro radiance nail and hand cream, and pro collagen marine cream.

While introducing ear plugs and eye mask, the airline has taken into consideration the negative reaction by the premium customers because of their non-inclusion during the last amenity kit redesign.

Meanwhile, British Airways announced in February this year that its pre-order meal service is being extended from existing 6 routes to 21 now. The pre-order meal service became effective from February 5.
 
The customers booking tickets in First Class, Club World (Business Class) and World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy Class) will be able to select the meals of their choice prior to boarding their flights.

British Airways said that the pre-order meal service will now be available on flights from London Heathrow to San Diego, Austin, Houston, Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.

The airline said that from March 1 onwards the pre-order meal service is also being extended on flights to Calgary, Montreal, Toronto, Baltimore, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Denver and Atlanta. The airline will serve these destinations from London Heathrow Airport. The premium customers will be able to pre order their meals between 30 days and 24 hours prior to their scheduled departures.
