British Airways to offer new bedding in LHR-JFK Club World flight

British Airways has entered into new partnership with The White Company to offer new bedding to its Club World (Business Class) customers traveling between London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The new changes are part of the airline’s multi-million pound refurbishing exercise announced earlier this year.

The new bedding comprises a padded mattress cover, a duvet, a blanket with satin trim, white cotton pillowcase and a new larger pillow. The airline is planning to roll out the new bedding gradually on other long-haul routes as well.

Apart from the new bedding, breakfast cards have also been introduced by British Airways. The breakfast cards would be provided to the premium customers offering them the flexibility to use the option when to be woken up and their choice of meals to be served at the time of their own choosing. The airline in a statement said that it will be introducing a new “restaurant-style premium dining service” in autumn this year in Club World cabins.

British Airways has also partnered with The White Company for offering amenity kits in the Club World. The amenity kits would be unisex, and comprise of a bag from The White Company consisting products from its “Restore & Relax Spa Collection”. Additionally, the business class customers would also be offered a jersey eye-mask as well.
