British Midland International plans Amritsar-London flights

British Airline must have won quite a many brownie points when they announced their plans to introduce flights connecting the Sikh Holy city of Amritsar with capital of the UK , London. The planned flight service will commence from October 14th, 2011; leaving Amritsar and reaching London in 12 hours. The new flight operations would be thrice weekly. These flights would operate via Almaty (Kazakhstan). However the passengers would not be required to change planes.
