Brussels Airlines Launches New Routes, Largest Expansion Ever

Brussels Airlines is set to expand its network. The airline in a recent statement informed its plan to make the biggest ever expansion in its history by launching 11 new routes.

As per the details provided by the airline spring 2014 will see two new year-round flights to Warsaw and Krakow. And the remaining nine routes will be launched during the summer to Montpellier, Figari, Ajaccio, Seville, Bari, Athens, Malta, Cagliari and Basti. Apart from adding new routes, Brussels Airlines will also be increasing its frequency to Catania, Florence, Marseille, Madrid and Palermo. In totality the airline will be offering nearly 400,000 extra plane tickets from this year.

The airline also informed that it will be increasing its existing fleet size by adding two new Airbus A319. It will also be opening new airport lounges at Brussels Airport by the end of 2014. Apart from all this the airline also plans to begin an all new loyalty program applicable specifically for its European network. This new loyalty program will exist along with its present ongoing Miles & More program.
