Brussels Airlines has once again taken to the skies and resumed its flights operations out of Brussels Airport. The airline has stated that it wants to keep its customers happy with its top quality services. Bernard Gustin, CEO of Brussels Airlines, said, “The airline has decided to keep its business class customers delighted with its premium dining experience on flights to the United States, Canada and Africa. The customers will be treated to delicious Belgian fare at 30,000 feet in the sky on board their flights.”
Gustin said that Brussels Airlines will be designing new menus for business class after every six months. The airline has hired the services of top Belgian chefs to create yummy meals. Celebrity chef Dimitri Marit from La Maison Marit would create a culinary magic by bringing the best of Belgium to all those traveling to North America and Africa.
Star chef Dimitri Marit runs his own family-owned La Maison Marit restaurant, which opened in 1991, along with his father and wife. He has been holding the coveted Michelin Star for over 15 years now. Chef Marit mostly uses local seasonal produce to create delicious cuisines.
According to Brussels Airlines, Chef Dimitri Marit has created six menus using locally grown seasonal produce procured from the Walloon Brabant region. The business class customers traveling on intercontinental routes to Africa and North America would be offered innovative, classic Belgian dishes. The premium customers booking business class tickets in the month of June this year can look forward to mouthwatering dishes such as a sole soufflé with grean peas, cauliflauwer and risotto, lamb ravioli with parmesan sauce, snow peas and broad beans, and smoked salmon bavarois with cucumber and herring caviar.
Selected beers from the Walloon Brabant region procured from the famous brewery Belgo Sapiens would also be served to the business class fliers along with the menus. The customers would also be treated to a cheese selection from the popular Cheese Refiners Van Tricht in Antwerp.
