The Business Lounge operated by Emirates Airline at Dubai International Airport has been renovated. The airline spent an estimated $11 million to upgrade the lounge at Concourse B. The revamp exercise was undertaken two years ago.
The new-look lounge will now have three new concept areas – Champagne Lounge, Health Hub and Barista Experience. The exclusive Moët & Chandon champagne lounge will be the first-of-its-kind to be opened at any airport in the world. The Health Hub will be featuring healthier options and has been opened in association with Voss Water. The airline has tied up with Costa Coffee to offer a barista experience to its premium customers.
The Business Lounge will be offering access to the customers traveling in the airline’s First Class and Business Class cabins. Moreover, Emirates Airline’s Skywards Platinum, Gold and Silver frequent flyer programme members are also free to gain access in the lounge.
Providing details about the newly refurbished Business Lounge, a spokesperson of Emirates Airline said that it is spread in an area of 10,000 square feet and has been designed to seat over 1,500 customers at a single time. The revamped lounge is large enough with 40 percent more seating capacity in comparison to the previous one.
The Business Lounge has been refurbished in such a way that it will be taking care of customers quite well with many new facilities. Apart from the new refreshment stations ‘Champagne Lounge’ and ‘Barista Experience’, the families traveling with their kids can make use of the special children’s play area equipped with many arcade quality games. The Timeless Spa has also been renovated and would be offering complimentary hair, beauty and therapy treatments to the First Class and Business Class customers visiting here. There are also designated quiet areas within the lounge so that the customers may relax prior to boarding their flights. Among other amenities here include shower facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, TV screens to entertain and keep updated with news, and free meals and beverages.
