Business lounges of TAM and American Airlines at Rio airport

If you are headed to or taking business class flights out of Rio de Janeiro’s Galeão Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport, the business class lounges operated by TAM Airlines and American Airlines are sure to make you happy with the various amenities and facilities they offer.

Just take a look at what all TAM Airlines and American Airlines offer at their respective business lounges. TAM Airlines is operating its VIP Lounge for premium passengers at Rio de Janeiro’s Galeão Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport. The lounge is situated in Terminal 2 of the departure area. It is open every day from 5 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 12 pm.
 
TAM Airlines’ VIP Lounge caters to First Class and Business Class passengers. For passengers traveling in First Class on TAM Airlines or Star Alliance partner airline-operated flights, there is option to invite one guest at the lounge. This option is also available to those holding Black TAM Fidelidade card, Red TAM Fidelidade card, Star Alliance Gold Membership card or Star Alliance Paid Membership card. However, this privilege is not available for business class passengers.

The amenities and services offered at the VIP Lounge include Internet access, TV screens, telephones, shower rooms, dedicated kids area, restrooms, business centre, jazz lounge, and magazines and newspapers. Self-service buffet is also available for the passengers. A wide selection of food and drinks are also offered to business travelers.  Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages include juice, tea, coffee, Brazilian Cachaça, Liqueurs, Vodka, Wines, Whiskey, and soft drinks.
