Caribbean Airlines special flight deals for Holi seeking Guyanese Diaspora to return home

Guyana recently launched the ‘Rediscover Home’ special package for Holi aimed at encouraging Guyanese Diaspora to return home on time for holi and become a part of the celebrations. The special package was launched by Guyana’s Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce.

The package has been launched jointly by the Ministry of Tourism, Guyana Tourism Authority, Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha, Caribbean Airlines and participating hotels.

Caribbean Airlines is offering cheap flight deals comprising seven nights/eight days, including airfares, to be availed during March 2 to 9, 2012. Dubbed ‘Gateway to the Festival of Colours celebration’, the special flight deals is targeted at Guyanese Diaspora prompting visitors to come to ‘Destination Guyana’ and become a part of its rich culture and celebrate Holi or Phagwah – the Festival of Colours.

Besides airfare and seven nights/eight days hotel accommodation, the package also includes daily breakfast and entrance to all Holi events being organized by the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha during this period. The events include Phagwah Mela and Bazaar, the Chowtaal Samalan, and traditional Holi Utsaav in Georgetown.
