Cathay Pacific Airways introducing premium economy on Tokyo route

Cathay Pacific Airways recently announced its customers will now be able to book premium economy class flights for travel between Hong Kong and Tokyo.

The airline in a statement said that it will be introducing a Premium Economy cabin on its routes to Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports from Hong Kong. The services would be operational from August 1, 2013.

The airline’s new product would be named “Regional Premium Economy”. Cathay Pacific Airways said that apart from introducing new premium economy cabin on Tokyo routes, it will also be launching the new product on Hong Kong-Manila route on the same day.

Cathay Pacific Airways had in April last year first introduced Premium Economy on long haul and medium haul routes connecting Hong Kong to/from destinations in North America, Europe, India and Middle East.

The airline said that the customers traveling between Hong Kong and Tokyo would now be offered multiple travel options.
