Cathay Pacific orders three more B777-300ERs

Cathay Pacific Airways is slowly expanding its footprints across the United States and other parts of the world. The airline has placed an order for three Boeing 777-300 ER planes with the American manufacturer, suggesting that it is keen on spreading its wings further. These planes will add to the airline’s order of twenty-one Boeing 777-9Xs. It ordered these aircrafts a few weeks ago.

The airline, which operates service to more than 100 destinations worldwide also, offers business class flights to several domestic and international cities worldwide. It serves several cities in the United States including Anchorage, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Honolulu, and San Francisco. It flies out of its main hub in Hong Kong International Airport.

The airline uses Boeing 777-300ER on various routes in a three-class configuration. These seats comprise 82-inch seat pitch, and 21-inch width. This class offers comfortable mode of travel to passengers. The seats can be converted into fully flat beds with a length of about 82-inch and 6.5-inch width for the optimum comfort of the passengers. It provides a side cabinet to stock gadgets and other devices and gives a feel of that extra space onboard. The 15.4-inch wide personal monitor is home to a number of audio, video, and games. The food and beverages served of course are delectable and suit the pallets of the passengers. While its business class is already a hit with local and foreign travelers, it makes sense for the airline to place orders for more of these aircrafts and offer the same luxury on more routes.
