Cathay Pacific Premium Economy flights to New York soon

Cathay Pacific Airways recently announced that it will introduce premium economy flights between Hong Kong and New York, Toronto, Vancouver and Sydney from March 1, 2012. Bookings for cheap premium economy tickets are available from April 1 onwards.

Initially, Cathay Pacific Airways will be offering free premium economy upgrades to top-tier frequent flyers traveling in economy class. For the new premium economy flights, the airline will first prioritize its most loyal Marco Polo Club members, starting at the top tier Diamond Plus elites to Diamond and possibly Gold.

The passengers can book premium economy Sydney-Hong Kong return flight at around $2,455.48 in mid-April.

While, premium economy New York-Hong Kong return flights can be booked starting $5,800; Vancouver-Hong Kong premium economy return flight starting at $3,571.88; and Toronto-Hong Kong premium economy return flight starting at $4,229.52.
