Cathay Pacific Airways has announced it ready to inaugurate its new lounges at Hong Kong International Airport and Singapore Changi Airport during the second half of 2017. Earlier, the airline had opened its flagship The Pier Business Class lounge at Hong Kong International Airport, and also much awaited lounges at Vancouver International Airport and London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3.
Sabrina Klick, Cathay Pacific's Worldwide Lounges Manager, said, “The company is looking forward to the debut of the new-look Gate 16 lounge at Hong kong International Airport. The area of the lounge is though limited but the airline is committed to make better use of it through its Ilse Crawford design, and which will also include Noodle Bar as well.”
Klick said that Cathay Pacific Airways wants to make its passengers feel comfortable and at home whenever visiting its lounge. The primary aim of the airline is also to see to it that the passengers are offered a consistent lounge experience.
Media reports said that Cathay Pacific Airways would be inaugurating its first dedicated lounge at Singapore Changi Airport in Q3 2017. The lounge will be situated in the airport’s newly-built Terminal 4, from where all the flights of the airline arrive and depart. Currently, Cathay Pacific Airways flights arrive and depart from the airport’s Terminal 1.
According to the reports, the airline’s lounge at Singapore Changi Airport would be situated on the mezzanine level of Terminal 4, offering picturesque views of the runway and apron. The lounge will be housed in some 800 square meters area, and would be around half the size of Cathay Pacific Airways’ The Wing First Class Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport. The newly-built Terminal 4 with its numerous shops, ample greenery and plenty of rooms has made Singapore Changi Airport proud and made it among the world’s favorite airports for air travelers.
