Cathay Pacific’s flagship ‘The Wing’ lounge at Hong Kong airport

Cathay Pacific Airways has renovated its flagship lounge ‘The Wing’ at Hong Kong International Airport offering a completely new travel experience to its customers traveling on business class flights. The airline’s signature lounge has set new standards by providing excellent ground service ever since its launch in 1998. The airline completed the renovation in February 2013.

The renovation was undertaken by the airline to provide unparalleled convenience and comfort to passengers and enhance their experience by taking it to the next level. Cathay Pacific Airways has ensured that the unhindered views and open ceilings continue to remain The Wing hallmarks. With its renovation, The Wing has once again reestablished itself as among the world’s best lounges.

This expansive lounge with a huge space inside provides much relaxation to the passengers giving them opportunity to fully recharge themselves and catch up with some work. 

The Wing has been exquisitely designed and features “China Black” granite, White Carrara marble and a palate of warm woods. The business class lounge is equipped with newly-introduced facilities. A wide range of seating options is available for the passengers, including exclusive Cathay Solus Chairs and comfortable sofas.

Business travelers, apart from relaxing, can also fulfill their official chores at the 6 workstations with IT services, including high speed Wi-Fi. As usual, The Wing continues to feature The Long Bar and The Noodle Bar. The passengers can also treat themselves with choice of four Western and Asia hot dishes as well as a wide choice of cold food at the self served buffet counter.  The renovated lounge also features new Coffee Loft where passengers can enjoy freshly-baked pastries and a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
