China Airlines launches FORMA amenity kits for business class

Taiwan’s national carrier China Airlines has now decided to offer three different unisex amenity kits to its premium customers. The amenity kits are being supplied to the airline by leading international guest amenity and hospitality specialist FORMA. The kits will be offered to those booking business class flights or traveling in premium economy class.

Ever since the airline received its first Boeing 777 aircraft in autumn last year it has hired the services of FORMA and Taiwanese design consultancy Kuan’s Living for creating a bespoke amenity kit that would be exclusive, neat, modern and sturdy pouch. The airline will be offering the amenity kits to customers traveling in non-777 business class and premium economy as well.

Jeffrey Kuo, Spokesman of China Airlines, said, “The amenity kit will have airline’s logo embossed on it and will be prominently featuring a brightly colored lining. The kit will contain comfort items from Acca Kappa’s 1869 cosmetic range. The customers will also be able to take the amenity kits along with them for using it later on.”

Kuo also said that with the launch of the new amenity kits China Airlines want to fulfill its commitment of successfully meeting the quality bar in not only business class but also in premium economy in-flight facilities as well. He hoped that the design of the amenity kits will be greatly appreciated by the customers across all classes and flights.

Roland Grohmann, Managing Director of FORMA, said, “This is not the first time that China Airlines has hired the services of FORMA. It had worked for the airline in the past as well. This shows the confidence that the airline has reposed once again. It will try its best to come up to the expectations whenever required.”
