China Airlines showcases amenities on its first Boeing 777-300ER

Taiwan’s national carrier China Airlines recently received its first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in October this year. Ever since the airline included the new aircraft in its fleet, it has been proudly showcasing various amenities in the 368-seat aircraft.
 
A spokesperson of the airline said that the cabin interiors harmoniously combine the Chinese tradition with all the modern amenities. The exquisite interiors are all set to mesmerize the travelers with an 11th century Song Dynasty painting.

While providing details about the design and other facilities on the aircraft before mediapersons, Interior designer Ray Chen elucidated the design philosophy and explained why a Song Dynasty painting was fabulously done on the walls of the restrooms in the aircraft.

China Airlines also showcased its various cabins and all that will be offered to the customers. According to the airline, those booking tickets in its Premium Business Class would be offered spacious seats, a desk lamp for study and large screen TVs for in-flight entertainment. The business class fliers will in fact be provided a taste of Taiwan in the aircraft’s Sky Lounge, appropriately reflecting East-meets-West design. The travelers would be offered coffee and tea while relaxing at the lounge. The passengers can also look forward to savoring Taiwanese treats such as pineapple cakes.

The airline is also introducing its first ever Premium Economy class cabin on the newly-acquired Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The premium cabin will be featuring a shell back design and extended legroom for providing maximum comfort to the premium economy travelers.

The airline is planning to introduce the aircraft to launch flights between Los Angeles and Taipei starting from December this year. The airline will also be introducing new flights to Frankfurt, San Francisco and New York in 2015.
