China Southern Airlines launches 4-times Guangzhou-SFO flights

China Southern Airlines recently announced the launch of its flights to San Francisco from Guangzhou.  The flights services between the two destinations will be operated four times per week.

The airline will be operating the Guangzhou-San Francisco route with the help of its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, configured with three classes. The customers will be offered four seats in first class, 24 seats in business class and 200 seats in economy class. The nonstop flights on the route will be served on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Providing the flight schedule, a spokesperson of China Southern Airlines said that the outbound flight will depart from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) at 13:30 hours and reach San Francisco International Airport (SFO) at 10:10 hours. The inbound service will make its departure from San Francisco at 12:10 hours and arrive in Guangzhou at 17:30 hours next day.

Earlier, China Southern Airlines launched its flights services between Guangzhou and San Francisco via Wuhan in December 2014. The three-times weekly service is presently operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flight duration is of 15 hours. The new direct flights on Guangzhou-San Francisco route has been shortened, with the flight duration now being of 12 hours.

It may be recalled that China Southern Airlines had this year launched its new direct flights services between Guangzhou and New York JFK. The airline starting operating seasonal flights on the route effective from June 23 and will continue through September 1, 2015. The route will be served with 10 nonstop flights every week.
