China Southern Airlines opens new First and Business Class lounge at Guangzhou airport

China Southern Airlines recently opened its new First and Business Class lounge at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. SKYTRAX conducted the lounge planning and interior design. This new lounge meets 5-Star Airline Lounge standards. The lounge was unveiled on January 9, 2012.

Edward Plaisted, CEO of SKYTRAX, while attending the lounge unveiling ceremony, said that SKYTRAX actively participated and advised China Southern Airlines on the Lounge Design and Interior Planning of this project since its initial conception to its final delivery.

“With the opening of this new luxurious lounge facility, the customers of China Southern Airlines will be able to avail the true 5-Star Airline Lounge standards,” said Plaisted. He also thanked and paid tribute to the management of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for their cooperation in the successful completion of this project.
