Copa set to launch business class service to Fort Lauderdale

Copa Airlines, one of America’s popular airlines, is all set to launch service to Fort Lauderdale. The airline will commence service between Panama City and Fort Lauderdale beginning July 11, 2014. It said that it would operate four flights per week between the city pair.

The flagship carrier of Panama will deploy Boeing 737-700 plane on the route. This aircrafts has a seating capacity for 124 passengers. Of the 124 seats, 12 are available in business class while the rest 112 are available in economy class. The new service will give passengers yet another opportunity to fly on business class flights between the two countries.

The airline is famous for its services in the premium class. Apart from comfortable seating, passengers in the business class can enjoy complimentary meals and beverage. A number of flavorful wines and spirits are available onboard. The airline also offers 12 channels of audio and video entertainment in Spanish, Portuguese, and English languages. It also provides complimentary headsets.

As per the schedule, flights will depart Fort Lauderdale every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 6 pm. It will arrive at Tocumen International Airport at 8 pm approximately. Return flights will depart Panama City on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 11:46 am and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 4 pm.

Fort Lauderdale is the airline’s 11th overall destination in the United States and fourth in the state of Florida. It also operates service to cities including Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, Orlando, San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Washington Dulles.
