Delta Air Lines adds summer seasonal food and beverage onboard its flights

Passengers booking Delta Air Lines air tickets will be offered complimentary seasonal food and beverages onboard its flights throughout the summer months.

Delta Air Lines celebrated Cinco de Mayo this month by offering complimentary margaritas made with Tequila Avion and chips and salsa to customers on most of its transcontinental flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco operating out of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on May 4 and May 5, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that later this May it will begin offering margaritas made with Tequila Avion on flights in North America, the Caribbean and Central America throughout the summer months.

The airline will also be serving Blue Moon beer with a traditional orange slice on flights within North America, the Caribbean and Central America.
According to the airline, passengers taking Delta Air Lines flights between the U.S. and Latin America and the Caribbean during this summer will be offered Mojitos.

The airline recently announced a series of onboard service enhancements in the Latin American and Caribbean market, including new meals in BusinessElite inspired by South American cuisine and designed by Chef Michelle Bernstein; Chilean Chardonnay and Syrah wines selected by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson to be featured in Economy and regional desserts and soft drinks.
