Delta Air Lines boosts U.S.-Ireland flights capacity this summer

Delta Air Lines recently announced it will boost the capacity of its international flights between the U.S. and Ireland this summer.

The airline in a statement said that it will start operating additional service between New York and Ireland’s capital city Dublin during the summer schedule this year.

According to Delta Air Lines, the new service would be complementing the airline’s existing year round service between the two destinations. The customers can now look forward to book cheap air tickets for the thrice weekly flights to be operated starting June 18 through August 29, 2013. The airline will deploy a Boeing 767-400ER aircraft to operate flights between New York and Dublin.

The airline further stated that in addition to the extra weekly frequency on the route it will operate its daily flights services on Dublin-New York route over the summer period with the help of a larger Boeing 767-300ERE aircraft after replacing the existing Bowing 757-200 aircraft.
