Delta Air Lines launching Shanghai-Seattle flights in July

Delta Air Lines recently announced it is planning to launch its fourth flights services between China and the United States in July next year.
The airline in a statement said that the travelers from the two countries would get enhanced travel options and opportunity to book air tickets at competitive rates.

The airline disclosed that it would be launching daily flights between Shanghai and Seattle starting from July 17, 2013.

According to Delta Air Lines, it has already applied to the U.S. Department of Transportation for the route between Shanghai and Seattle and is waiting for its approval.

The airline is planning to operate the flights on Shanghai-Seattle route with the help of a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft configured with 208 seats – 36 seats in business class, 143 seats in economy class and 29 seats in premium economy class.

Delta Air Lines also disclosed that it will also be adding flights on Beijing-Detroit route. The airline will increase the frequency to daily flights from the current five flights every week starting from December 1, 2012.
