Delta Air Lines to resume flights between Pittsburgh and Paris in May

Leading U.S. carrier Delta Air Lines recently announced it will again begin its flights services between Pittsburgh and Paris next year.

The airline in a statement said that the customers can again look forward to book air tickets to these two cities at competitive rates.

The airline stated that the seasonal flights will take off for Paris’ Charles de Gaulle International Airport from Pittsburgh International Airport starting May 12, 2013. The flights will continue until the last week of October next year.

Delta Air Lines said that it hopes to operate flights between Paris and Pittsburgh five days every week most of the season. The airline said that the seasonal flights it is resuming this time between the two cities is a slight increase as compared to last year. In 2011 summer, the airline operated flights to Paris from Pittsburgh for only five days.

Rich Fitzgerald, Allegheny County Chief Executive, while commemorating the 20th anniversary of Pittsburgh International Airport said that this is good news that Delta Air Lines has again decided to resume flights to Paris next year.
