Delta Air Lines traffic in Dayton increases 14 percent

Delta Air Lines recently announced it has succeeded in making significant gains with the sale of its air tickets at Dayton. The airline in a statement said that Delta Air Lines flights services operating out of the Dayton International Airport have performed splendidly.

The airline stated that with a nearly 14 percent increase in passengers for the month of October, Delta Air Lines continues to maintain lead with huge traffic gains.

Delta Air Lines said that the Dayton International Airport is continuing to make big strides in increasing is passenger numbers. According to the airline, there were more than 115,400 boardings in October this year, about 5 percent increase as compared to the same month in 2011. This was the second consecutive month when the airport reported more than 4 percent increase in its traffic.

With a 13.9 increase in passenger traffic in October 2012, Delta Air Lines maintained lead over all the carriers operating out of the airport. The airline reported nearly 32,000 boardings this October.

According to reports, Delta Air Lines is all set to launch its daily nonstop flights between Dayton and New York LaGuardia starting from January 3, 2013.
