Delta Air Lines unveils premium economy seating on long-haul flights

Delta Air Lines recently unveiled its premium economy seating, termed Economy Comfort, on its long-haul international flights.
 
The airline offered premium economy tickets to its customers on all flights longer than 750 miles. The tickets were offered on all mainline domestic and international flights which departed on or after June 7, 2012.

With the expansion, now Economy Comfort seating will be available on all of Delta Air Line’s dual-class aircraft.

According to the airline, the passengers taking flights in Economy Comfort will be offered additional legroom and priority boarding.

More than 550 of Delta Air Line's mainline aircraft, including its Boeing 767, 757, 737, MD88, MD90, DC9, Airbus A320 and A319 aircraft, and on more than 250 two-class regional jets including the CRJ900, CRJ700, E170 and E175 aircraft types, the Economy Comfort seating will be available in the first three-to-five rows of the Economy cabin.

The airline had earlier introduced the first Economy Comfort seats in the summer of 2011, which have now been expanded and being currently offered on all Delta Air Line flights longer than 750 miles.
