Delta Airlines Re-introduces the renued Sky Club Lounges

Delta Airlines recently removed the curtain from the first Sky Club lounge out of the four lounges, which were under renovation at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport. The renovation of the Sky Club lounge was the part of the carrier’s USD 2 billion plan to improve the services on the ground and in the air.

The renovated lounge at the Minneapolis St. Paul airport is located near the entrance of the F/G concourse has a small workzone, which is equipped with desktop computers, with wifi internet access, printer’s facility, and also serves complimentary food and beverages. Along with these there will also be a flight assistant in the lounge, who will assist the passengers.

The airlines will unveil the remaining three at the Atlanta International Airport, New York La Guardia Airport and Philadelphia International by the end of this month. The lounge at the Atlanta airport is located near gate B-10 on the B concourse. The lounge at the New York La Guardia, whose first phase is nearly on the completion and second phase will complete during the summer, is located close to the exit of the security area. The lounge at Philadelphia Airport is located adjacent to the security exit in Terminal D.

The airline is expecting to build another new Sky Club in Concourse D of Atlanta International Airport as well as complete the renovation of the lounge near Gate A-17. A plan to build the brand new Sky Club at the Seattle airport is also on cards.

The airline is also planning to introduce the fully-flat seats in the business Elite cabin on the transpacific routes.
