Delta Offers More Options to Mexico

There is some good news for passengers heading to Mexico on Delta Airlines. The airline has decided to offer additional direct flights from several U.S. cities to Mexico.

The airline will offer additional flights to Puerto Vallarta from Salt Lake City and Atlanta and to Los Cabos from Atlanta, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Salt Lake City. The airline will kick off with the expanded service from October 2014.

Delta will now be flying four times a week between all the city pairs except Minneapolis/St. Paul. Increased flights on Puerto Vallarta-Salt Lake City and Los Cabos-Atlanta route will be functional from October 1. Expanded service on Los Cabos-Salt Lake City will commence from October 4 and on Puerto Vallarta-Atlanta route from October 5. Delta will also be offering once a week flight between Los Cabos and Minneapolis/St. Paul from November 8. All these additional flights are up for sale.

Apart from Delta, Alaska Airline is also planning to resume its flights to Mexico. The airline after a hiatus of four years wishes to restart its Seattle-Cancun flights. The airline has contacted the Mexican government for the same and has shown interest to start this service by November 6 this year. If this comes through then Alaska Airlines will be the only carrier to offer nonstop flights to the eastern coast of Mexico from Seattle.
