Delta to launch flights to three new cities from Los Angeles

Delta Air Lines is in a mood to expand its service to various destinations across the United States and outside. The airline has announced its decision to launch new routes from Los Angeles. One of the biggest commercial airlines within the country is all set to begin direct daily service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Austin in Texas, Boise in Idaho, and San Salvador in El Salvador.

The airline will soon offer airline tickets from the Californian city to these new destinations. It is however, waiting for a green signal for the concerned authorities and as soon as it gets the required permissions, it will connect these destinations seamlessly. Besides, the above-mentioned cities, it also plans to launch nonstop service between Los Angeles and Monterrey in Mexico.

The airline will operate twice-daily service to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. As per the schedule, flights will depart Austin at 7:30 am and arrive in Los Angeles at 8:25 am from June 16, 2014. The return flights will depart the Californian city at 9:45 am and arrive in the Texas capital at 2:40 pm. The second flight will depart Austin at 4:30 pm and arrive in Los Angeles at 5:45 pm. The return flights will depart Los Angeles at 6:15 pm and arrive in Austin at 11:30 pm.

On the other hand, the flights will depart Boise at 6:15 am and arrive in Los Angeles at 7:15 am from June 6, 2014. The return flights will depart Los Angeles at 7:30 pm and arrive in Boise at 10:35 pm beginning June 5, 2014. Likewise, the flights will depart El Salvador at 7:20 am and arrive in Los Angeles at 11:35 am from July 2, 2014. The return flights will depart Los Angeles at 12:10 am and arrive in El Salvador at 6:10 am.

It will use the services of Boeing 717 planes to fly the Austin route. The airline will however, deploy Boeing 737 to San Salvador. It will deploy 76-seater, twin-class Bombardier CRJ900 planes to serve the cities of Boise and Monterrey.
