Delta to offer two new business flights from Seattle in 2014

Delta Air Lines has yet another news for its customers. One of the largest commercial airlines of the United States said it plans to launch two new routes from Seattle and Fairbanks. The daily nonstop service to Fairbanks is likely to commence operations on May 29, 2014. The flights to Vancouver will launch on June 5, 2014.

As per the plan, business class flights between Seattle and Vancouver will be available five times a day. Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines will operate this route. The airline will use the services of 76-seater Bombardier CRJ900s to fly passengers to their destinations. In summers, the airline intends to deploy Boeing 737-800 for an additional seasonal service. All the planes comprise First and Economy Class and offer onboard Wi-Fi services as well.

The airline is in a mood to expand its footprints and recently announced the launch of service from Seattle to destinations including Anchorage, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon, San Diego, and San Francisco. It is also scheduled to commence flights to London Heathrow, Hong Kong, and Seoul in June 2015. To maximize the comfort of business travelers on long haul flights, the airline has introduced the concept of full flat bed seats in business class on all its flights. The airline will also fit personal entertainment system on seats across classes.
