Demand for business class flights between Kuala Lumpur and London encouraging, says Malaysia Airlines

Malaysia Airlines recently unveiled its special celebration livery of its first Airbus A380 ahead of the July 1 launch on the route between Kuala Lumpur and London.

The airline set a record with the inauguration of its first Airbus A380 scheduled flights services between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and London Heathrow. The airline first started its flights between Kuala Lumpur and London from July 1, 1974.

According to the airline, the livery was specially designed for its new Airbus A380 superjumbo aircraft.
 
The airline in a statement said that it will operate flights on Kuala Lumpur-London route utilizing Airbus A380 aircraft thrice weekly, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The airline said that the demand for business class tickets was quite encouraging. One flight from London was overbooked, while another flight from Kuala Lumpur was fully booked. The Airbus A380 aircraft plying on Kuala Lumpur-London route has a capacity of 64 business class seats.
 
Malaysia Airlines is planning to conduct daily Airbus A380 flights on Kuala Lumpur-London route by August this year after acquiring the second aircraft.
