Elite Airways tickets on sale for new Washington Dulles service

Yet another low-cost carrier is giving tough competition to Australian carriers. Elite Airways recently announced the launch of its cheap tickets sale for its new nonstop flights between Melbourne and Washington D.C.
 
The airline in a statement said that the new roundtrip, nonstop flights to Washington Dulles International Airport from Melbourne International Airport will start operating from September 8, 2014. The flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays.

According to Elite Airways, the customers are being offered one-way ticket for travel between the two destinations starting at $199*. Providing the schedule of flights, the airline said that the flights will make its departure from Melbourne at 7 am and will reach Washington Dulles at 9.10 am. The return flights will depart from Washington Dulles at 9.45 am and arrive in Melbourne at 11.50 am.

John Pearsall, President of Elite Airways, said that the new service between Melbourne and Washington Dulles is expected to be favored by both business and leisure travelers who want affordable and convenient flight options.

Pearsall said that Elite Airways will be conducting flights service on Melbourne-Washington Dulles route with the help of a CRJ 200 aircraft. The passengers are likely to admire the service because of certain privileges as well. The customers will be offered a free first checked bag and would also not be charged extra for making any itinerary changes.
 
Elite Airways will be joining Delta Air Lines and US Airways at Melbourne International Airways. Another carrier Baer Air, providing scheduled flights to the Bahamas as well as charter service throughout the contiguous U.S., is also based at the Melbourne airport.
