Emirates A380 celebrates the 50th anniversary of Fiumicino airport, Rome

To mark the 50th anniversary of Fiumicino airport, Rome and 150 years of Italian unification, the UAE’s national flagship carrier, Emirates Airways will operate its Airbus A380 aircraft to Rome.

The superjumbo will depart from Dubai at 08.55 am and will arrive in Rome at 01.13pm. The round trip flight will then depart from Rome at 04.45pm and will arrive in Dubai at 00.35am the next day.

"Many of those who have watched our A380 since its introduction to the fleet in 2008 may not realize that the A380 experience comes at no extra cost compared to our other aircraft," said Salem Obaidalla, Emirates' Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Europe & Russian Federation.
