Emirates A380 takes off to Los Angeles, its longest routes

Emirates, the big Gulf carrier announced the launch of its Airbus A380 service to Los Angeles. The Dubai based airline commenced service on the super jumbo double-decker flights from its hub in Dubai to Los Angeles in California recently. The airline management, staff, and crew are thrilled with this flight that they term as the ‘longest’ for the aircraft.

Passengers can now book airline tickets on these flights and fly between the city pair all days of the week. The massive plane will shuttle between the two cities everyday with hundreds of passengers onboard. The nonstop service is set to boost the airline’s capacity on the sector. Dubai is one of the most prominent Asian cities, a popular tourist gateway, and a preferred shopping destination. In fact, most tourists visit the thriving city for the amazing desert safari. On the other hand, Los Angeles is the Hollywood of the world. Many people fly to the city for fun, and work.

This flight will take about 16 hours and 20 minutes before arriving at its destination. In the meanwhile, it will cross over skies in the Russian Federation, the North Pole, and Eastern Canada before touching down at Los Angeles International Airport. The airline is relying heavily on this service to expand its presence in the United States.

The aircraft is equipped with a seating capacity for 489 passengers. Of these 489 seats, 14 are available in First Class, 76 in Business Class, and 399 in Economy Class. The airline boasts of Wi-Fi connection across classes, about 1500 channels in its entertainment package, and signature meals specially created for the passengers.
