Emirates Airline begins second daily service to Seattle-Tacoma

Emirates Airline recently announced the launch of its second daily flights to Seattle from Dubai. The airline''s new service started operating beween Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Dubai International Airport (DXB) effective from July 7, 2015. The route is being served with the help of a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.

Providing details about the flight schedule, Emirates Airline said that its Flight EK227 will make its departure from Dubai at 3:15 am and reach Seattle at 6:55 am. The return service Flight EK228 will depart from Seattle at 9:40 am and arrive in Dubai at 10:55 am next day. The new service will be complementing the current Flight EK230 being served by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The flight departs from Seattle at 5:40 pm and arrive in Dubai at 6:55 pm next day.

A spokesperson of Emirates Airline said that the passengers taking flights from Dubai and beyond to Seattle-Tacoma will now be able to connect to various North American destinations through the airline''s codeshare partner Alaska Airlines. The destinations include Boise, Billings, Honolulu, Anchorage and Portland in the United States, and Calgary, Victoria, Edmonton and Vancouver in Canada.

Hubert Frach, Emirates Airline''s Divisional Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations - West, said, “”The new service will prove to be beneficial for passengers traveling from both Dubai and Seattle as they will get flexible travel option of connecting through both a morning and evening departure. The second daily service has been launched considering the growing demand fron residents in the Seattle area as well as corporate travelers. The new service also offers improved connectivity to many international destinations from Seattle.””
