Emirates Airline introduce new affordable fares in business class

Emirates Airline has recently introduced new fares across all classes, including business class. The fares are now available in most of the markets. The airline has termed the new fare as ‘the most affordable’, particularly those being offered in economy class and business class.

The new fares have been classified thus: First Class – Flex and Flex Plus; Business Class – Special, Saver, Flex and Flex Plus; and Economy Class – Special, Saver, Flex and Flex Plus.

While providing the operation details of 2014, Emirates Airline in a statement said that it had transported above 45 million passengers. The airline conducted 3,516 flights services per week on average with the total number of passenger flights reaching 191,736. The airline is presently serving a total of 147 destinations in 84 countries.

Media reports said that the airline’s move to launch new types of fares is aimed at offering flexibility and more choice to the customers. It will also help the customers maximize the bonus miles as well.
 
The reports said that the new fares will be greatly beneficial for the Skywards Miles members. With the increased flexibility the next tier can be reached more quickly or the existing one retained. The reports however said that the existing tier bonuses for Silver, Gold and Platinum members will remain unchanged. Presently, the tier bonus for Silver members is 25 percent, for Gold members 50 percent and for Platinum members it is 75 percent.

Emirates Airline though has not hinted whether it is going to reduce fares or not following sharp decline in fuel prices worldwide. The airline said that the new fares have been designed to fit the needs of individual customers with best prices and greater flexibility.
