Emirates Airline launching daily Dubai-Orlando service Sept 1

Dubai is all set to be added to the growing list of destinations on Orlando International Airport’s network. Emirates Airline recently announced it will be launching new flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) from September this year.

The introduction of the new daily flights to Dubai from Orlando effective from September 1, 2015 is aimed at opening the doors for the numerous business travelers and tourists from Central Florida to the Middle East region.

Frank Kruppenbacher, Chairman of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, said, “This is so far one of the biggest moves forward for the Central Florida community and Orlando International Airport. The launch of the new service will also boost the economy of the region, and is likely to make an economic impact in the region by nearly $100 million.”

Emirates Airline in a statement said that it will be deploying a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft to serve the two cities daily. The airline will be offering 8 seats in first class, 42 seats in business class and 216 seats in economy class. The airline said that it will be carrying a total of 97,000 passengers every year if the flight is completely sold out every day.
